North by Northwest as part of the Alfred Hitchcock Retrospective presented by the Phoenix Film Society and Phoenix Art Museum
In anticipation of the new film from Fox Searchlight Pictures, Hitchcock, starring Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren, the Phoenix Film Society and Phoenix Art Museum will be screening two classic Alfred Hitchcock movies.
Following the screening of North by Northwest there will be a discussion of the film hosted by film critic, Colin Boyd.
The second film screening is North by Northwest which is number 55 on the American Film Institute's Top 100. The film stars Cary Grant as a hapless New York advertising executive who is mistaken for a government agent by a group of foreign spies, and is pursued across the country while he looks for a way to survive.
The first film in the series is Psycho and will screen on November 1st at the Phoenix Art Museum. Click here for information on that screening.
